Research, Use, Inventory
Max Lamb’s practice resists the usual divisions between design, research, making, and lived experience. On the occasion of his collaboration with Wasted by Potato Head at other circle, this conversation between Lamb and Felix Burrichter looks at his work as an expanding inventory — shaped by material exploration, workshops, commercial projects, self-initiated research, and the ongoing renovation of his London home and studio.

The Post-Disciplinary Connector
Every act of powerful creative work runs on something no single discipline can name. Before it is a dish, a building or a piece of music, it is energy. Curating Energy asks how we generate, sustain and protect that force, especially across a post-disciplinary creative process. What if energy, rather than medium, was the real unit of creative exchange?
Moderator: Thomas Mondémé
Panelists: Dan Thawley (Artistic Director, MATTER and SHAPE) + Marie Laurberg (Director, Copenhagen Contemporary) + David Glaettli (Founder, Studio David Glaettli)

Claude is an AI collaborator designed to support human ingenuity. At this workshop, Claude will show you what that looks like: experimental projects that go from research to finished form, using Claude to connect to apps & tools that you already use as part of your creative projects.
Charging and changing the world around
When a work of art or a design object truly hits its mark, something happens. Something is transmitted, irreducible to its support or its medium. How do we name and describe this energy that travels from the creator to the public? And how do we keep it alive? Serving Energy traces what flows from the work to the public… and what flows back.

Beyond Scandinavian Functionalism
Scandinavian modernism transformed design, making beauty and function accessible to the many. Today, the world that shaped that tradition has changed. This conversation explores how designers build on inherited traditions, what meaningful cross-cultural exchange looks like, and what is pushing design culture forward today.
Moderator: Nour Fakharany (Creative Strategist, SPACON)
Panelists: Ozan Akcay (CEO, Voo Store) + Bubu Ogisi (Creative Director, IAMISIGO) + Zakari Boukhari (Co-Founder, Hall Haus) + Rodrigo Bravo Ferretti (Designer & Creative Director, Bravo)
Wasted workshop hosted by Max Lamb, invites visitors to step off the sidelines and engage directly with material — observing, participating, and questioning what we consider waste in the first place.
The Present and future of creative tools
Every tool we've ever made waited for us to move first. The tools we now hand to artists, designers, architects and writers are different in kind. They propose, they generate, they act… So the question is no longer whether to use them, but how. Human Circle explores how we unleash our creativity while staying ourselves and staying human.
Moderator: Thomas Mondémé
Panelists: Cédric Elisabeth (Electronic Music Producer) + Christine M. Smith (Creative Director, OMHU) + Svend Jacob Pedersen (Co‑founding Partner, Spacon & Co-Curation Director, other circle)

How to do something different
Design has always claimed to be about people. But the built environment - the spaces, objects and systems that constitute daily life - has been shaped overwhelmingly around a narrow model of the human body and mind. How does this affect our inner and outer landscapes. And can we envision a different way of placing a body in a chair.

Everyday at other circle
Voo Store is a Berlin-based concept space bringing together fashion, design, objects, and culture through a curated lens.
For this year’s edition, Voo Store serves as the official store partner of other circle, presenting a curated selection that reflects all disciplines within the platform – design, art, fashion, food, and beyond. A physical extension of the program, where ideas and objects meet in one shared context.
If John Waters, Vivienne Westwood, Iggy Pop and Ettore Sottsass had a love child that grew up to open a place somewhere between an Italian autogrill, a Berlin späti, a Japanese listening bar and a kindergarten in Copenhagen – it might feel something like this.
We sell Aperol granita.
Panini in paper sleeves.
Olives.
Tiny coffees.
Books with coffee stains and folded corners.
Mags.
Objects that solve problems you didn’t know you had.
Beautiful junk.
Cheap miracles.
Expensive nonsense worth every cent.
People come for espresso and leave with a chair, a peach soda, three paperbacks and a different personality.
Open when it opens.
Close when it closes.
No dead weight.
